The “Miller Reads!” program, our District’s literacy initiative, is alive and well at the Walter Miller School. Promoting a love for reading continues to be our goal. Many school-wide activities are focused on encouraging our students to read. At each grade level, teachers have implemented “independent” and “at-home” reading as part of the required homework. You can do your part and keep the reading momentum going by making sure your child completes the reading homework that is expected at their grade level.
